This documentary project was created to show the lives of some of the families in the "Familias Unidas" program offered by the organization UnidosNOW and funded by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County in Sarasota, Florida. It was a study of the relationship between child and parent from a Latin American country, and the cultural importance of family. These parents had been studying English in the free program in their children's school. During this exploration of family life, a sense of resilience, unity, and support was born. Enlightening the strength that these parents have towards being an example to their children, in this case, studying English, no matter the barriers that them from success.

Este proyecto documental fue creado para mostrar las vidas de algunas de las familias en el programa "Familias Unidas" ofrecido por la organización UnidosNOW y fundado por la Fundación de la Comunidad de el Condado de Sarasota en Sarasota, Florida. Fue un estudio de la relación entre padre e hijo/a de un país Latinoamericano, y la importancia cultural de la familia. Estos padres estuvieron estudiando Ingles en un programa gratis en la escuela de sus hijos. Durante esta exploración de la vida familiar un sentido de capacidad, unidad y apoyo nació. Iluminando el poder que estos padres tienen al ser un ejemplo para sus hijos, en este caso estudiando Ingles, sin importar las barreras que los puedan prevenir del éxito.
